Operation ShoeBox

Operation Shoebox was founded in 2003 to send support over to our men and women deployed out side of the USA to help raise their morale and let them know they are cared about. Operation Shoebox accomplishes their mission with care packages, letters, and bulk shipping of items that can be beneficial to them during their deployment.

Suggested Items to Send Are:

-Candy (heat resistant)

-Paper, pencils, pens, envelopes, ect

-Dental Hygiene products

-Drinks (instant coffee, creamer, sweet tea mixes, gatorade, ect)

-Food (beef jerky, sm box cereal, girl scout cookies, gum, pop tarts, much more)

-Games (travel size board games, crossword puzzles, playing cards, ect)

-Music (Cds, tapes, Cd funny packs, DVDs, and much more)

-Reading Material (books, local newspapers, magazines, ect)

-toiletries/Hygiene Products

-Other (sunscreen, tylenol, eye drops, sm American Flag, zip lock baggies, batteries, bug spray, duct tape, disposable cameras, baby wipes, mini flashlights, small battery powered fans, pre-paid phone cards, shoe insole cushions, white cushioned calf high socks, ect)

-Post Cards are great to send in packages. You can pre-address the post card to yourself or your organization with a note asking the service member to please let you know if they recieved the package. (You do not have to include a stamp because troops can mail to the USA for free)
