Glazer Children's Museum is a perfect hands on museum for children! They not only come to learn but get to play and have a blast all at the same time with out even knowing that they are learning! There are over 170 fun and challenging "interactivities" in 12 different themed areas! Your child can visit several different sections of the museum to get a great experience! Some of the sections are:
Airplane Travel-they can become pilots and experience swooping over Tampa Bay!
Art Smart-they can make noodle sculptures, kaleidoscopes, write with light and get theri faces painted.
Central Bank-where they can explore banking with earning money and spending that money on activities
Cruise Ship-your child can become a captian, sailor, or explorer. They get to explore islands and the underwater.
Design and Build-they get to become architects, designers, or builders. They can also operate machinery and work on plumbing, siding, painting and much more!
Get Moving-Your child will get to experience physical challenges, climb a mini wall, and play virtual games.
Engineers Workshop-your child will be able to find out how things work, design highways and airplanes, and learn how to generate electricity.
Fire House-they will get to wear safety, slide down a fireman pole, drive firetrucks, and sound the sirens and lights!
Publix Super Market-your child will get to go grocery shopping with small scale carts, work the register and bag groceries!
Hospital-they will get to identify body sounds, practice dentistry and work in a health clinic.
Outback SteakHouse Cafe-they will get to work in a restaurant as the chef, waitress, or just be there to enjoy the food. They can make anything from sandwiches to pizza!
Kids Network-this is a media zone where they get to conrol the news and give weather reports!
Kids Port-your child will get to navigate through shipping channels, unload cargo, become dockworkers, and even build bridges.
My House, Your House-this is a multi-cultural house where your child can explore cultures with food, stories, art and music.
Tug Boat Tots-an area for toddlers age 3 and uner
Vet Clinic-your child will get to become a vet and help animals. They will get to look at x-rays and determine treatments.
Water's Journey-they get to pretend to be a drop of water and climb a 35' structure and participate in the water cycle!
